The scope was to centralize the operation for Merrill Garden. They had various locations and department storing the data locally which was difficult to utilize. They had a need of a centralized SharePoint 2013 based DMS with role & permission-based access for various documents. The efforts took about 14 weeks with 2.5 resources.

• The organization was facing multiple issues such as advanced security, better support, and customizing features. More storage capacity and customization were also needed..
• When considering SharePoint migration, it’s important to consider your overall business direction, and how your business is currently operating. We deleted the dummy content and uploaded the use data content which was 800 GB.
• The plan that we made for Merrill Garden’s migration included several things such as System auditing, Information architecture redesign, Documentation & Testing.

• To ensure that everything is running correctly after migration, testing is crucial. The plan included Ensure that data has been migrated accurately and completely, Verify query performance, Verify search results and the time each search takes, Test the UI and user experience, Create a backup of your new system & Run a full crawl.
• Approximately 800 GB of data content are contained in Merrill Gardens, as well as 90 sub-sit pages and 200 lists & libraries files.
